Thread regarding Chesapeake Energy Corp. layoffs

Proud to work here!

All you people complaining need to get over your sour grapes! CHK rules and every other company drools!

My manager even told me CHKs stock will be going up soon so I bet you all won't be complaining when that happens, you'll just be jelly!

I used to be a receptionist now I am a landman so don't say this company doesn't offer opportuntieis! :-p

I am now a land man making 75k at CHK, was formerly a CHK receptionist. I got so good at receiving cum from upper management big dicks that they nicknamed me "the receptionist". Girls, I will now reveal my secret: you must swallow without puking. Gagging and puking will make a man's dick go limp every time. Remember that tip if you want to get promoted. No degree required!

I have what is considered an "easy" degree. I had no idea while I was in college what I wanted to do with my life and didnt take school seriously. I've now come a very long way in my career and I make what one would consider a pretty awesome living. That alone is due to my work ethic...not my degree.

@30172 sounds like some major insecurities going on that post. Actually, you do make a decision on where you set your course for life at the age of 19. It's called college and you have to specialize if you want separate yourself from the pack. I sure wouldn't want my Dr at the hospital get to their job by "working hard" or sleeping their way to the top. Or how about the engineer at Boeing who builds the planes we fly in.. I don't think they got there by just simply hard work. It takes planning ahead and sooner you figure that out in life the further you will be. It's not too late to quit the sub basement job you have in Building X and return back to school for higher education. Oh and by the way, AKM didn't need a technical skill out of college because he had capital from family which allowed him to start his own venture and roll the dice.

Going from receptionist to Landman and in some cases "supervisor" is exactly what is wrong with this company... Some of actually went to college to study a specific field and work in it. It's called planning ahead in life. A receptionist promoted to a real career is just not realistic and discount the ones who worked hard in school to get the education.

You're not fooling anybody. You were laid off last October. Current employees don't post on here. Everybody on this forum is a loser who lost his or her job, including me! I have posed as a "happy current employee" too.

It is fun to do right? I mean it's almost a guarantee that former employees a/k/a losers will give you flak.
