Thread regarding Corinthian Colleges Inc. layoffs

CCi Just lost its V.A. approval in California.

This represented about 10% of all income for CCi. Here is the post.

Did you read the entire article, CCi stiffed the VA for documents just like they did the DOE. CALVET gave them until August 22 to produce the information they requested and CCi didn't deliver, AGAIN!

They can continue but they have to pay. No GI Bill money for California schools. Who's gonna be next?

That's just the beginning. And CCI's push for vet $$$ has been a big part of their business model.

Current students will be able to continue, they will get their monthly stipend from the V.A., but their student debt is no longer getting paid. Wonder how long before CCi goes after veteran students to start paying? Also gotta figure the Dept of Ed is looking at this and are thinking how much longer to keep giving CCi scraps to survive on.

Sounds like the students already enrolled will be able to continue: "CSAAVE worked closely with CCI executives and the schools as well as other state and Federal agencies to minimize the impact of the suspension on our Veteran students." That said, without the V.A. cash the 90/10 rule will be impossible to comply with.
