That's my question after reading, "OMG its time to face reality. I hit the job boards last night and it's really scary what's out there. I saw a job posting asking for a bachelors degree yet the pay rate was $11/hr. WTH???!!! Since when?? I say I'm done with this industry and even it isn't paying like it used to but d@mm!!!"

615, I agree with you. I feel bad for my students who are pretty sharp (about 10% of them). Sometimes I feel like I should tell them that they are smart enough to go a fully accredited college, but then I wonder how discouraging that would be to them. Perhaps they already tried a community college but they weren't able to succeed because it was too impersonal.
Anonymous31546- A graduate from a traditional school is likely less risky to hire.
Realistically, I'd say that the online degree's worth is highly dependent on the cognitive ability of the student. Some students get a lot from the curriculum, and others don't.
You can print on the backside of the degree!! HAHAHAHA
After answering what it's worth, the next question is what does it cost?
