Thread regarding Corinthian Colleges Inc. layoffs

Anthem students are being referred to EUO via email...why?

Several reps here at the Tampa online call center are getting contacted by Anthem students who received an official email announcing a "partnership" with Everest.

It's clear what's going to happen. They're just trying to make it look busy.

All I know is ECP is scheduled to take over the EUO call center, at least for online. Pure speculation, but maybe that's because Everest University students are being corralled wherever CCI can fit them.

Because anthem acted like CCI is acting...waiting until the last available second to do anything and when the time came, they had no plan.

This makes no sense when everest itself may become a teach out school/go bankrupt in the near future. Poor students are being thrown around like recycled trash.

859, who said anything about a sale? I know Anthem is closed. I also know what a teach out is. There's no bundled undies here my friend, I bring up a valid question. Why would one crappy for-profit institution send it's orphan students to another crappy for-profit institution that may be facing a similar fate in the near future?

Anthem shut it's doors today. Everest and many other colleges are letting students finish their programs at other for profits. Very common in a teach out/closure situation.

Anthem closed last week in my city. MCC and another for profit took the students into their programs. Very common in a teach out. When Everest closed here, students went to other career colleges. Don't get your undies in a bundle. There's no sale of anything. It's just helping them finish their schooling.

It's happening all over. Anthem is getting for profit schools to take on students. It means, literally, nothing.
