So was called in by a regional and told that in two weeks I will be unemployed. Since they can't afford to give me a severance I'm just going to work and have my insurance until the end of the month. It kinda sucks and I wish I would have found something else. I was one of the naïve ones that thought this would end with me having a job. No so.

Truth. I just got laid off on friday, work for 2 more weeks and have insurance until the end of Sept. Can't even use my vacation time (only sick time) I would say I'm sad, but we all know CCI is a chop shop that destroys students' financial future... and definitely no place for security or loyalty.
It's true. I was given my termination letter on Friday and have until September 12. I think they did a good job in securing my insurance because they could have laid me off the end of August and then I would have completely nothing now. Turns out that I also scheduled vacation so I have very few days left before I am gone. I'm happy, sad, and ready to move on and away.
They are not going to announce, every time a handful of people get laid off. Have you people ever worked for a real company?

CCi has never given warning, and no matter how "times have changed," I don't expect warning will ever be provided.

Don't believe you. I haven't heard of any other layoffs today. It doesn't happen individual by individual. If there was a RIF, there would be lots of posts. You're a troll.
