I am not going to desert the sinking ship, I will wait until I get called to the CPs office. Why? Because I can. With so many unpaid vendors, staff reductions (there will be more), job sharing - or duty redistribution - I won't have too much more to tolerate. I do know it's time to go...
From an earlier news article: "Jenkins, the Corinthian spokesman, said none of the ongoing investigations have proven 'systemic wrongdoing or company-wide failure to comply with laws and regulations'". YES deceit and deception for self-promotion are the CCi way, and those that remain there fit right into this culture. Vultures all of them, feeding off carrion. Your fate is sealed.
I am in no rush. Why should I leave when I can come in each day and get paid to sit and do NOTHING! This is better than unemployment or severance. And you think I am kidding. The majority of us left know that it is only a matter of time so we might as well just sit around and wait.
I know there are no severances, I will wait because I can. I wish those who leave the best of luck. I am in no rush to go anywhere. I am under no illusion - CCi are doomed. That is all there is to it. It would take a miracle to rescue the company.
Why wait? You think there's going to be a severance? Look around you. They have money. And it appears they are trying to set people up so they cannot college unemployment. (I can't prove that but there's been some unusual PIP activities.) I'm waiting for an offer and I am out.
