It rox I lost 2 weeks sick time and gained 2 weeks PTO. I'll have 8 weeks in 2015 after carrying over 120 hrs lol
It's a good deal for those with hire dates at the end of the year. People with hire dates early in the year got hosed. 2 more weeks of vaction is fine with me. I never used sick time anyway.
Hope you don't plan on a January vacation, getting sick, or snowed in. We'll get 1-3 days of pto and sick combined a month. This policy blows. And is way below the Chesapeake standard.
Wow, smart on their part I guess. They won't have to pay you guys out when they lay you off like they did me back in Oct...got paid for 4 weeks of PTO on top of all the other shit. FFFUCKING idiots!
You didnt miss it. They havent said anything and will wait until last minute. Lots of people getting screwed on this one.
Pto rolls over on jan 1st. You now accrue time each pay period instead of getting a lump sum on your anniversary date.
What's the new policy?? I must have missed it.
