Why not Acquisition? UOP dose not have an art program like Ai. Ai-online is already running smoothly so its something worth selling.

Acquisition by University of Phoenix? I'd say NOT LIKELY. Their stock is doing fine though.

That's interesting, a lot of these top guys now at EDMC came from University of Phoenix after they ruined that company. They probably are going to try the same cost cutting trick by locating there. That or maybe they want to open up a new market driven degree, Firearms for Fanatics. It's the same state where some billionaire took his 9 year old kid to a shooting range and the kid accidentally shot and killed his instructor with a semi-automatic weapon. Hey if they can have a place called Bullets and Burgers, then EDMC can certainly open up a Firearm training school. Stranger things have happened.
perhaps all operations will be moving to phoenix soon. are there tax or accreditation incentives to move operations? from what i've heard, the university of phoenix was able to have their accreditation in AZ allowing for branch locations to open up throughout the US. apparently, PA isn't as accommodating.
Well EDMC, KKR, and Goldman Sachs just milked another $4 million from the Ontario Teachers Pension Program in this last deal. They have lots of money to spend (lots of assets to sell, lots of labor costs they can reduce)on 4- star hotels, VPs, etc.
Well they just hired several NEW VPs to manage the problems, their salaries got to come from somewhere. Any what better way to introduce them than flying everyone out out to another state business class, booking a half dozen 4 star hotel rooms an charging 5 star meals to the failing company. Get used to it. THIS is how THEY are going to milk the company dry.
