Suggest they have no money. It cracks me up every time. In any event, ask the students for a cell phone recommendation. How many have cell phones? All of them. And they get the latest model every 12 months, or sooner, so it seems.

I often think the same thing. They act like 20,000 is going to "Bury them in debt for the rest of their lives" but they hop out of a 40,000 car with paper plates. I see VERY FEW vehicles in our parking lot that cost less than 20K. So looking good in a car that depreciates every day is a good thing, but investing in your education that should pay off the rest of your life is a burden. Get real peeps
Ah...... The wonderful things are hard earn taxes pay.
They are hood rich. They get money some how and decide that it's best to buy their baby air Jordan's and buy themselves a couple of sacks of weed to either sell for a rainy day or smoke on a regular day. They sell their food stamps and buy the latest phone because they need it to look good in the club.
