What is the purpose of this restructure? I can see restructuring when you plan on being in business for a long while. I cannot see restructuring when you will no longer exist in 4 months. These people continue to lead us to believe that everything is okay and it is not.

Any new promotions after the restructuring?
I was wondering the same thing. Why spend the time and resources to restructure the leadership when we will be gone by the end of the year. Seems like a waste of time.
Restructure = Streamline = More responsibilities for some staff and zero responsibilities for others.
Why is this giving employees hope? It should panic you. Probably means layoffs (firings.) No healthy company in the history of the world just restructures.
The 12 schools that were designated for teach out have already began the process. The restructure is happening for the online division. That is part of the 85 schools that will have to be sold or close. Teach out is not an option. I agree, restructure to do what? We were told that things will be shifted around, we would have different pods and may change who we report to. It is like they are shifting things around but we will be closing soon.
I don't think a restructure is hopeful at all. Doesn't that mean layoffs and a ton more work for everyone else that's left? Maybe I'm wrong.

Companies restructure for failure all the time. It's the death throttle. If you start feeling hopeful, look at your paycheck. Then read the news and CCI filings. There's about 4 months left. CCI schools are closing, whether they sell or not. And if any schools do sell (they won't) they will likely hire a new batch if employees. At best we will be offered jobs at much less money. It's over. Best to be realistic.
What future? This is a rhetorical question.
Restructure can mean for building for the future. Or it can mean lay off people and give everyone left all the work.
