For once, I almost feel sorry for Directors, etc. I can already see here (Socle Tampa) that they really do not have a choice. They are all expected to cheerfully take the 50% and come to work each day to show their commitment to the company and optimism about its future. Only real choice for them - 50% or get canned. Priceless! I for one will be enjoying my week off. Nice weather in Tampa right now.

555 I've been with them over 12 years and you're correct about ECMC. They are interested in Everest and Wyotech and hopefully be signing paperwork next week. All the trolls keep saying everyone will be fired if they buy us which isn't true. ECMC will need all the current employees to keep operations of the schools going. This is why there hasn't been any more big layoffs at campuses lately and they are doing the time off thing. Corinthian is trying to make it long enough for the sale to go through with all the current employees still in place. The trolls will bash this but it is what I know.

Been with the company over 10 years and the ECMC representative did visit our school. Our department was introduced to the rep and I personally spoke to the rep and answered questions. ECMC is not a rumor.

This includes program chairs/coordinators that aren't teaching a class. For us it's mandatory week off. This is on top of the 10% cut and out of the 1 weeks pay they take 2 weeks of benefit contribution. What will they want from us to make the next payroll?

Anonymous35480: Save yourself some time and extend it now. There has already been meetings concerning software licensing transfers and servicing the schools for a year or more. I wouldn't make this up and on the Socle front there are 2 or 3 schools on boarding in October with the possibility of 5 more by 1/2015.

477 (OP)- You may have overstepped your credit line once you mentioned ECMC, but if later shown to be true, I'll extend your future credit.

Anonymous35413: This is the OP. You know you are correct and I apologize. I have posted only things I knew 100% were true and got slammed. Jack did take a 50% pay cut but I think he will be okay unlike some other people. Since I did establish credibility with you all the rumor about ECMC is pretty spot on.

Just found out - the "directors and above" have the choice of 50% pay cut for 2 weeks or one full week without pay.

442- Considering his stock that was once worth $35.00 each share is now worth $0.15, he isn't worth much today. And much of his pay is in the form of stock.

OP said "director and above" gets the choice of 1 week furlough or 50% pay cut. Hopefully that includes our fearless leader CEO as well. Not that it would make a difference though.

OP, don't take it personally. I've been attacked on this board more than once for giving out info. Everyone is so used to the lies made up by non employees, it's really hard to know what's true and what's not. Interestingly, I'm usually the first to notice troll posts. I actually figured this one to be true. Usually troll posts come at night when they can't be verified quickly because business hours are over. But you're right. It's not worth trying to tell people anything here. At least they didn't call you a f***er. I've gotten that a few times, and my info was spot on! I keep it to myself now and just come here to read other info. But I know some stuff. I ain't telling anymore!

Anonymous35413: This is the OP some story huh? I gave all the credible information I had since I am in IT at CSC California. Looks like the others backed up my story. Sorry but I have better things to do, like look for a job, then come and troll this board. Not all posters are trolls.

I'm sitting here with just my left nut...that's all I have left. I need for Assamino to SUCK IT!

Instructors and PD's who are already teaching a class WILL NOT have the forced furlough. All other non director level employees will have to furlough. Director and above positions have the option: 1 week furlough OR take 50% pay reduction. Email to all employees to come out around 4:30 EST...

My idea to save money: anyone with Regional or Division in their name be let go next week. Let each campus fend for itself without the really overpaid middlemen between the ivory tower and those of us who actually work.

Hey op, if its true then how about names, so your "story" can be verified.

So sick of so called people in the know that post info but never give any credible information to back up their story.
