Did Jim Hobby mention when he'd be coming to Pittsburgh?
Well, now I just heard that Jim Hobby will be coming here (Pgh, The Center) to have the same training. What did he even have to say? Did he really have any weighted information? When we've met him in the past he really didn't answer our questions with much more than an "I don't know" or an "I can't answer that".
Anonymous35575, I was referring to The Advising Center in Greentree. I haven't heard a single thing about OHE or anyone in the strip.
Anonymous35560, that's interesting about having a meeting with Jim Hobby soon for the "training" about company plans/ I work in Pittsburgh in advising but in not in the center, we haven't met with him, I don't think any of the ar/ac/fcs have gotten to meet him? are you in pgh? I'm interested in finding out more about what happens in the training...maybe it will be delayed for the rest of ohe?
Anonymous35326, what rumors have you heard? academic counselors positions would be out of phoenix? or some other type of advising? interested to hear more about this... with the gradteam model I'm not sure how that would work if they had all of the advising out of phoenix, but don't know if much of pgh has heard this./ anyone else?
I don't work in the advising department, but I do sit near HR at The Center and I have overheard them interviewing/hiring people to be academic advisers. I have also seen the job postings for academic advising managers. I don't know if The Center currently has an academic advising department or what schools they advise if they do have that department.
I'm assuming you're located in Pittsburgh, has Jim Hobby come to meet with your location yet? He was having meetings with The Center employees this week and seemed open to answering any question. He mentioned that employees would be receiving a "training" soon that would go over the company's plans...I'm hoping we'll all be able to find some answers there, but I'm not sure how long we have to wait before it will be available to us.
