Thread regarding Corinthian Colleges Inc. layoffs

Be wary of the wolf in sheep's clothing......

Seems to me that having a CCI staff attorney "represent" you is a conflict of interest - if that is what they truly intend. The lawyers are paid by CCI to protect CCI, not to protect you. If your conversation with authorities reveals evidence of wrong doing, who do you think will be left holding the bag? If you have any knowledge of wrong doing or any concerns at all about whether or not you may having knowingly - or unknowingly - participated in quastionable activities, get your own attorney, or refuse to speak to authorities. You can do so unless subpoenaed.

Legal you say.... This company is the worst ever at legal. You get dragged in a situation and you will not realize your in it till you are in court.

I'm pretty sure anyone who's worked here for any length of time knows legal is not here to protect employees. I mean, if HR isn't, what are you going to expect from corporate lawyers? Please.

This is why I don't like internal emails posted here. People think we are too stupid to figure out what to do and feel like they need to lecture us. Even they have no idea what they are talking about.
