I know a lot of us have seen this before, but read it again with the furlough, cuts in security, etc, etc that's been going on this past week. Yeah, a lot of us saw the "signs' months ago and have been looking like responsible adults. Unfortunately, in some markets there isn't a lot out there, and many of us can't relocate. So figuring out that your company is going down gives you a little head start, but in the end it might not even matter. I'll be in the same position as the kool-aid drinkers.

Wait, I've been asked to take a pay cut AND an unpaid leave. AT THE SAME TIME! And no security in a high-crime zone! And I have to bring in my own TP because you never know here anymore! What the hell do you think of that?!? I know, I know. I sound like the desperate one still showing up at work under those conditions. Trust me, I feel like a loser every day.

Omg. Can someone post this another 50 times please?!?! This has been posted so much, it pisses me off to see it again. We know f***head who posted this. Again. We know.
The worst part is the suggestion to look for another job if your company is being sold. We already know it's either bankruptcy or sale, so these really aren't "clues" as much as a reinforcement of what we should already know - we need to be busting our butts looking for new jobs.
Hadn't read it, really scared now, thanks a lot! I guess tonight's going to be a Blackadder binge session and I'll try to drink myself through the weekend to keep my mind off all of this shit. It's been a particularly rough week in a rough 3 months. Very disheartening. Hope everyone can manage to have a relaxing and pleasant weekend. For those of you on first furlough - enjoy your time off!
