10% pay cut

If everyone took a permanent pay cut of 10% we could save the company 70 million per year which would be enough to get us through this rough period. Do you want your job or not. How I came up with this 14,000 employees at an average of 50,000 per year = 700 mill x .10= 70 mill.

Don't you just love the ones that want to "save" CCi? This company is so far under water there's no way it can ever surface again. The only hope is for a quick sale to a non-profit. But I've lost hope in that because it would take a minimum of 3 - 6 months to complete a "quick sale". Think of all the approvals needed, Federal DOE, state DOE's, SEC, board of directors, share holders, accrediting bodies and I'm sure I've missed a few. They are millions and millions in debt to vendors, land lords, utility companies, banks and so forth that this company cannot survive long enough to complete a sale. They want to sale CCi in three parts, Heald, Quick Start and Everest+ which includes WyoTech. They have letters of intent for two of the three but haven't even begun negotiating the sales figures yet. Time is running out fast.

You will pay these bills anyway if you pay taxes. Sooner than you think. Why sacrifice more? The rate of return is zero.

Except CCI is closing, so the pay cut won't apply after December anyway. And if anyone should buy a school or schools, they'll offer much lower wages than we make now.

Why stop there? Let's give them our 401k money any equity in our homes. We can donate whatever we have left in savings. We could even sell our plasma and give the money to CCi. Give them every opportunity to screw us before they go under.

Set up an online petition "save CCI" any employee who wants to join and take the 10% pay cut will sign it and we will send it to Jack.
