this site brought the company down, i have been telling you guys.they never tried to stop all noise that was created here. you had journalists feeding on the info here, you had fbi soliciting whistleblowers here, you name it. and that librarian that went screaming to obama was also a frequent poster here. so, congratulations to all of you posters.

I believe someone more resourceful could have put more of a positive spin on this fiasco after so many months to prepare. I know for a fact that I have had a positive influence with countless students who were willing to learn, who went on to starting careers and families. I am very proud of that, as are, I am sure, many other teachers who aren't just in it for a paycheck. The fact that this aspect hasn't been touched on in the media, and the media has mainly focused on the negative, is very annoying. The "pig" you are referring to should only be annoyed at itself for it's ineffective political strategy, and should welcome new ideas. It has cost itself many millions of dollars for not focusing any attention on its greatest asset and the reason it exists at all. The teachers and faculty, and the positive difference we have made in students lives.

188 - Nice sentiment. Unfortunately, asking executive management to validate/support your efforts is a bit like trying to teach a pig to sing. Waste of your time, and it really irritates the pig. I am a former instrutor, so I appreciate your efforts. Unfortunately, ELT views instuctors as a necessary evil, or a means to an end - loan revenue.

Teachers need to put a bit more pressure on management to defend the integrity of the work that we have dedicated our lives to. The country is being led to believe that our efforts have been completely worthless. Some of us are even starting to believe it ourselves.

A company that fails to adequately defend its position, even under obvious political pressure, will by default, be assumed guilty by the public,

long before the extent of guilt is officially established. I think this is a perfect example of that.

Leaving a delisting notice hanging in the air with nothing pre-prepared to counter it, can lead some to believe that someone is asleep at the wheel.

What is there to buy? The market is showing us that CCi is worthless and will probably be de-listed the stock soon.

CCi hasn't been doing much to defend itself or it's employees in the public eye since the scandal started. So, moral suffers and they get less money for their assets. Kind of nuts really since it "quietly" claims that some allegations in the press have been false or misleading.

Nobody believes CCI is a great company. And we are employees, not day traders.
