Here is the latest from my meeting. ECMC is still buying all of Everest, WyoTech and Socle. If you are in IT then you know the pace of the planning for separating Heald and Canadian schools from our systems is picking up. The 14 Canadian schools sale is close to closing and a big shocker is that the original Heald owners and ECMC are both trying to buy Heald. ECMC will be servicing the Canadian schools for the new company 1 to 3 years depending on what the contract states. I know there will be posts calling me a liar, troll, etc but there is no way I can prove to you that this is real. All I can do is tell you that you can validate I am a real employee at CSC by checking the 4th floor visitor log on Wednesday. Oracle is coming to discuss some PeopleSoft things with IT management on Wednesday. Not sure if it is morning or afternoon meeting. We are not going to reapply for jobs and seniority is being kept when we become ECMC employees. It wouldn't surprise me if a press release from state's AG beats an announcement. Have a good weekend. Come Monday you may want to reach out to the CA AG and see if they have any comments.

I looked in ServiceNow and I only see 4 new hires. Nothing major, I think two financial operations manager. On a side note it is a great time to upgrade monitors, computers, memory due to the people leaving. I was able to up my laptop memory from 4GB to 8GB. Not sure if I answered your question but that is all the info I have

The OP is giving good information on the GROUNDWORK. There is absolutely NO guarantee of employment, pay rates, or benefits. Take control of your future. If you stay you will get what Jack(ass) and ECMC give you. For me I have no trust in the folks that put us in this position.

What REALLY is funny is all the dreamers probably think their jobs are safe under a new company, and even worse, at the same pay and benefits.
OP just says that the groundwork is being laid now in preparation of the sale. When the sale goes through (not if), then the naysayers will shut up. For now, let them make keep posting nonsense.
I do not believe any of this, this is a publicly traded company (if you cn call it that) they could not be doing all this without some sort of filing. All BS, same fake posting over and over
If they were doing all this a signed deal would be in place and this would need to be announced , all just nonsense

Anonymous48669: You are correct, I am not aware of anything outside of CSC. I do not work with the schools and I do not know how they operate. I do know that ECMC is big on Socle and clients are coming in, not the default prevention part. I do know there are no layoffs or furloughs coming. The only other piece I know is HR and Finance would like to make the "break" to ECMC after a months end AKA closed books for the month. Dec 1 isn't possible and Jan 1 will be tight. I can speculate but that is not me.

This information is very accurate; however, what the OP doesn't state (probably because he or she isn't aware) is that this sale isn't actually beneficial to employees beyond 3-9 months from now, depending on where they work and the job they do. I'm not going to give details because I'm 100% in favor of DoE and it's not my job to convince anyone. Being hopeful, in this particular situation, will not be helpful to you.
