It's a done deal without CA schools. I work at CSC and was privy to this information earlier today. The OP is correct. I feel bad for the CA schools, but hey, don't worry I'm sure Jack will take care of you. Just glad I'm going with the sale.
Not so sure about the non-CA schools. I have been in meetings where we discussed plans on breaking off the Canadian schools and Heald and never was told there would be some schools left out. I know for a fact that WyoTech, Everest, and Socle were bought by ECMC and that under CCI the Heald and Canadian schools would be serviced until sold. I did here a rumor that ECMC board did meet today. If I am wrong about the CA school apologize in advance because my reports have been on the money except announcement dates :)

Taught out and closed= best outcome for all.
What they just bought, if indeed they did, is not very much without CA. Even if CA is part of a deal, it looks like the vast majority of CCi campuses will be taught out and closed.
Teach outs for the unsold campuses. But anyone who thinks ECMC is not going to gut the f*** out of what they just bought is deluded beyond repair.
So without CA, out of the two dozen or so that ECMC was looking at, that would be only about 15 or so sold. What happens to the rest of the 85 and the online programs?
Soooooo.....how long before the mass layoffs and reduced salaries for the remaining short time ECMC employees?
