Hey 105, sorry my post got on twice. My browser stalled and my response got posted twice, I apologize. My intention here is to help other CCi employees to see that they can take charge of this situation and don't have to accept the business plan from ECMC. Jack had no clue what he was doing and ECMC admittedly doesn't know anything about running colleges. Is this a company you want to continue to work for? If so, learn to accept the consequences and don't complain. I'm not accusing you personally of doing this! If not (like me), I'm waiting for the right job offer and leaving. A check from CCi/ECMC pays more than unemployment. I think ALL of us would appreciate people like you from doing nothing more that attacking the messenger and contribute to the message instead. I'm sure you can.

Hey 081, I agree that ECMC will announce their leadership when they "feel" like it. However, why are we to assume that they signed an agreement without having a plan in place? I think that we all should have our own personal plans in place to get another job in case their "leadership" plan sucks. I also agree that it really is none of our business what ECMC's are. But by the same token, we can decide for ourselves to stay or not stay after they tell us their plan, if they ever do. My suggestion to all potential CCi "transitions" - start interviewing for another job just in case.

Is ECMC going to be sending out "offer letters" to current CCI employees?

You just won't quit. There are 5 weeks before the scheduled transition as you call it. You really think ECMC signed an agreement without having a plan in place? I'm sure the leadership be announced when ECMC feels it needs to announce it. Basically, it's none of your business.

They have zero school experience. IF it wasn't so pathetically true it would be a good joke.

ECMC has not communicated any transition plan and has no one identified to lead one of the largest systems in the country. They are simply hilarious. Every article written is expressing this concern and they just go forward oblivious.

I pray to God that ECMC knows what they are doing. Jack didn't know. Now a company with NO experience in education is going to take over a failing company. On the surface, it looks like a recipe for disaster. Pray for us!!!

The sad thing is that 5, 10, 20 years ago we'd have a ton of actual education companies lined up to buy at that price. It tells you a lot about where the industry's headed.
