My daughter is struggling with "friends" that hide behind a computer and say mean things about her and her friends. I explained to be the better person and know that these bullies grow up, but this site proves me wrong. There are so many hateful and personal things said on this site. If you want to complain about the company or management, then back it up and keep the personal shit out of it. These are people with kids and families just like the rest of us. They may not be doing things right by your standard, but they don't deserve the name calling. For some reason it is assumed that everywhere is doing great but here at L-3. I know a lot of people that are struggling with unemployment right now in and out of Utah. The economy sucks everywhere. Stop the bullying and focus on the issues and offer up suggestions for improvements. Prove me right that the cyber bullying will get better as she gets older.

You know the truth is always too near when the "cyber bullying" term gets thrown around. Sounds like Anonymous51198 is trying to shout down free speech and truth with a bit of the old "let the crap fly to see if it sticks" mentality. I'm betting 51198 is the type to bully a decent employee just because that employee isn't a family member, personal friend, or someone who can serve his/her path to promotion. Sounds like your "friends" (Val, Devin, etc.) are starting to be shown the door. Better get a to-go box ready, just in case.
ya know Anonymous51355, I am not sure who you are directing your compelling inquiry at, but the reality is that I have spent double digit years in this place dealing with a less than stellar workplace to sustain a comfortable living in a secure environment. I am too old to look for a new job, I am a tweener and frankly and screwed if I lose this job, I know no other life. I like working at L3, I just dont like the fact that I worry when the next "managerial decision" might impact my life, that why I left a good job to come to a better one years ago - it definitely wasn't for the awesome work environment. I personally don't want to look for another job, I want to retire from L3 if possible. I do what I am asked and am really good at it, reason I get pissed off is because the people that call the shots can't say the same thing and if they are then there is a serious imbalance somewhere in the way these metrics are computed, yet they are still around, just doesn't add up.
If things are so bad why don't you just leave? I am not trying to call anyone out. Just asking.

Take your psychobabble elsewhere. The biggest bullies are the names referred to on this website. They and their friends are responsible for more condescending b.s. and in-office ridicule than anyone else. Their chickens have come home to roost. And chickens, as you know, will $h!t where they want. It's no surprise those people are now being closely examined for the proverbial "pink slip". They screwed this place up. They were in charge. Let them be judged. We will bring greatness back to L-3 when they are gone!

You are probably some aspiring manager that makes the L ||| sign with your fingers in the house promo videos. The reality is this, people say stuff here because none of the management listens to anything, we like getting paid and can't tell you exactly how we feel, and they schedule some broad based staff meeting through their admin aid and expect to just have smiles and a couple of candy can questions, which is what they get. How can any of them have a true open door policy or really want to listen, when A, they aren't in their offices because they are too busy meeting to make important decisions, which apparently, the people that execute them, arent good enough to do, hence layoffs and B, they cant even manage their own piss ant schedules. All of the manager types wonder why people are unhappy on the site because everyone likes them at the office, yeah...wanna know why, because there we have to be nice to you because you are the one controlling our work life, not because you are actually some superstar.
Amen. But maybe you should be encouraging a "stop" to all bullying in the office first. L-3 CSW is the worst environment for inner-office bullying I have ever experienced. It continues to this day. Start your morality-training there first, and maybe good karma will follow.
