$50 million? A bit off, way more, and no this is not "google" level at all. A few fancy screens the rest of the budget, we all know where there went.
Layoff all the staff and make the associates left accountable 24/7. That's what I call living the values! That $50 million that family paid for Westbrook looks like a great investment. It looks like Googles home office! Wow!
As noted, they are looking for methods (edelman and new management) to find out more about you and your personal lives - that is why they don't just give you one. In additions, they will expect you to respond to this account increasing the number of hours you work. Anybody with a company cell phone knows it is not a perk. You are expected to monitor emails throughout the day and night.
Email exchanges at 11 PM and well into midnight. Are you kidding me??? Even Mary Lee isn't up working that late!
You're forced to use an @Follett.com domain. If it was an external choice it'd be easy to ignore.
Don't use a Google email address. It is usually associated to a Google page. Look up secure "anonymous email" account providers that provide personal security. Don't give them any information because you this administration will use it against you for termination purposes, if you been there for awhile or a short time. Lock down your FB account too. This administration is ridiculous. I am sure they have cameras all over and are recording calls. I can see them now wringing their hands together as they listen and watch and making rude comments.

If you fail to register one you get (you guessed it) put on a spreadsheet and a nasty email from the Home Office demanding your compliance.

Get a new one from google or yahoo that you'll never use.
All field associates that are salary are required to have a 'personal' Follett email address in addition to their store email. Unlike the store email this can be accessed by all third party applications on non-FHEG devices
