The Kool aid drinkers operate under the notion that there will be a deal signed. We have until Jan 1st to sign something. If that's not done, there are no extensions or forbearance or any other BS like they did with the lenders. The teach out begins and if you're an insteuctor, you can start counting the days until you're no longer needed.
299 better cool aid than the Gummie Bears you eat. Stoner.
lots of KoolAide drinkers on this thread.
That's what I said. CS will still need to be RETAINED. Glad you agree ;)
288, career services would still be needed at campuses accredited by ACCSC at least. Many Everest and all WyoTechs are accredited by ACCSC and will still need to meet their placement requirements.
All those useless Regionals and RVP's will be let go very quick and supervision will move to a campus based management system
Even Career Services Reps will still need to be retained until ECMC moves their new college to non profit status. At least until those current enrolled Everest students graduate and are assisted in placement
235 you're an idiot as well
255 you're an idiot. First of all ECMC will have to retain the creditation each individual Everest campus currently holds. It will take 4-6 years to move each campus from a national accreditation to a regional accreditation. ECMC does intend on purchasing a couple dozen Everest campuses as a non profit college but that will take a few months to do after the deal is announced. Second. ECMC is not in a position to lay off hundreds of Instructors, Admissions Reps, Financial Aid, DOA's. Deans, or campus presidents. They do not have these people waiting in the hallway to replace those positions. Third. ECMC is only purchasing those select Everest campuses that are and have been run in compliance with the DOE regulations, thus no need to replace those current employees. I think you are just a bitter, lost, unemployed soul who is still having a hard time finding another job because you were deemed economically not viable to retain as an Everest employee. You were part of the reason why campuses were closed down and will not be purchased by ECMC. Go back to dealing drugs in the hood, you're better at that.
Yummy KoolAide!
Yes, there are better jobs out there.
A loan/debt institution like ECMC who is looking to break into a stronger educational foothold and is Regionally accredited is a perfect match. They can buy the company for the loans and start the educational realm with these established programs and student base, sidestep the legality BS by spreading the regional accreditation across them. This rules out any job placement restrictions, career services, or shady recruiting tactics since Regional schools and non-profits are not subject to those laws. Mid November... wait for it. However, ECMC is a SMALL player and they are buying a HUGE entity. I would expect mass layoffs and house cleaning especially in departments that typical non-profits do not need since those laws do not apply.
"...to keep you here..."
Got a lot of time on my hands to be a grammar-nazi.
It's just a way "for" them .....
