Thread regarding Education Management Corporation layoffs

The amount of money this company wastes on unnecessary positions is completely ridiculous. You could literally have 4 managers and have only one campus director to run the entire auo floor. Can someone please tell me when a manager seriously helped them grow as an employee? There are a select few managers at auo and that is truly because the look for all the wrong things. Just because you can enroll students doesn't mean you can coach and effectively run a team. Let alone most of these managers are the most unorganized individuals I have ever seen who sit around talking to their buddies all day. When are they going to be held accountable? Let's talk about finance counselors now. Seems as though out of everyone on the floor they have the most down time so if they can be up walking around all day then clearly you can easily double the workload. It seems like the academic counselors have been working a lot harder in the past few months then ever before, kudos to you guys! Now compliance... Will you please just start grading calls we took... If you want to push people out the door and insure they are doing the job right this is the way to do it. I have never worked for a company where they role play with ttheir employees and pay them to talk to each other. Do you think we don't know we are being tested? What a waste of time and money. I could go on and on but I will continue my rannt another day. Let's get it together already!!!
