Thread regarding Education Management Corporation layoffs

It's bad enough that EDMC does what it does to it's students. Taking them for hundreds of thousands of dollars, and leaving them no better prepared for the future then before they started taking classes. This is of the mindset the students actually graduate in the first place. Not only is EDMC doing a disservice to it students but alsoto its employees. They continued over the past several years to lay off staffed by the boatload. These employees come out of there with no more skills than they did entering that place. If you considered a used car sales career, that you've definitely learn something there. Time and time again I've run across previous colleagues who think they have the skills to take on the world, after working in that laughable environment. Needless to say they were phone monkeys in the admissions world, building absolutely no skills. Not only have students been demoralized by EDMC, the employees are no better.
