Thread regarding Qualcomm Inc. layoffs

This are pretty messed up in America.....

On one hand, you have employers that want to shaft U.S. workers by reducing pay, reducing compensation packages, moving job overseas, outsourcing, and throwing you into the unemployment lines.

On the other hand, you have a government with a Liar in Chief turning into a Thief in Chief that wants to tax more of your capital gains and dividends/passive income that you try to put together so that your money can work for you when you are unemployed or too old to work...including that college savings plan that you're trying to build to help send your kid to college....

U.S. employers trying to throw you under the bus..And then our government and Thief in Chief trying to run you over in case the first bus barely missed you....

@ 59471: We have this thing in the US called bankruptcy. Perhaps you've heard of it? Unfortunately, once you file, good luck getting a small business loan for the next 7 years.

The American people need to begin their transition from being an employee to becoming self-employed/entrepreneur. Job losses due to outsourcing and globalization will continue and the invasion of robots and machines (automation) has begun to further destroy jobs.

the real thiefs in chief are named Greenspan, Bernanke, Yellen. Mortgaging your kids' future to bail out some crooked bankers and give all you can eat access to the Fed's free money ZIRP teat. Glad I don't have kids...what's the point of saving all that money for college -- send them to SDSU? the only physics you learn there is how much force it takes to get cocaine up one's nose. the only finance you learn there is the racket that is the student loan system.
