No offense intended, but you are fools if you post anything you'd like to keep private on a company computer. The courts sided with corporations years ago; you have no expectation of privacy on your employer's computer.

Well, as far as my single post regarding the the put options, there were plenty of companies during web 1.0 days that went from $300's to single digits.. As far as being from a steam rolled company. Wrong steam rolled company: TI :)
But that was a long time ago before I moved to the Bay area...You see, some of us figured out if you're a software engineer, working at a chip company blows because you're considered overhead. I guess that's why we've been seeing more and more of the capable software engineers from hardware companies including QC crossing into our software companies. The nice thing about the Bay Area when it comes to software companies there are plenty of them up here...We're just better versed in managing stock options and stock grants than most of you people that aren't use to the churn and use to stability that no longer exists. We switch jobs every 2-3 years (and that would be considered long term in some cases) and do just fine up here...Afterall, I'm not the one worrying about layoffs and worried about limited job opportunities in San Diego, am I? Let's face it. QC bought so many connectivity companies recently, there's bound to be overlap. Heads are going to roll. It's inevitable.
I am guessing he worked at broadcom for a long time and is so bitter about the double smack down of the dot com burst and then getting steamrolled out of the baseband business by the big Q.
