I know that the C-level folks are not talking about geographic distribution of the announced layoffs. Just wanted to start a thread and see what do you all think will happen geographically? Are we talking 7K in the US? 400 in Tomball? Any guesses? What are your thoughts?

There will be many rounds of layoffs at Baker from now till Halliburton takes over. Halliburton will then replace all the key people of Baker with their own. To have full control of the company
4000 of the 7000 in US. You can add Indonesia and Australia to the above list as well.

Heard about Saudi, Dubai and Russia. Also Norway, Malaysia and China also being hit. Celle were having a big meeting this week to discuss it. It will depend how much work you have lost to many people you lose I guess. Lots of rigs lost in US so lots of heads to go there. Still no news in the UK to what will happen here.
Most of the layoffs are here, US Land, however there are smaller cuts globaly

No. One location in Saudi lost 200 yesterday.
I think, just think, that this will all be here in the US
