Effort is all relative. If all you do is crack the whip, then you're a terrible leader. A leader motivates, a slave driver mindlessly cracks the whip. We try to do too much. We are great at innovation and we have some of the world's best engineers. All wasted talent.
it's the hard rock. STDs are airborne there. everybody should be stressed.
I used to work at Qualcomm as a senior staff manager and now work for another company. I went to Qualcomm CES party this year at Hard Rock in Vegas. both SteveMo and MurtRen looked very stressed. In my opinion, these two MuRtRen particularly are amongst the most capable people QC has. The problem is the other upper management and the whole host of middle management. For a CEO, SteveMo is very approachable and relatively pretty humble. Anyone who has worked under him ever since he was VP will say that. MurtRen is not that approachable and cracks the whip hard, but he does push himself at work harder than anyone else in QC in terms of effort.
So, how do we do this? Announce it on this board?
