starting Monday WFT will be sending out letters (email or written if no WFT email) to those that qualify. The package is quite good compared to other companies packages. If you receive one, I'd suggested you evaluate carefully for your decision. Management is not allowed to influence your decision to stay or go.

Isn't the manager who posted this thread and the few who have commented trying to 'influence' the decision?
Hearing about a lot of these sent out today.
It is a one chance take or pass. Not all those offered will be allowed to accept. For example: if a department has 5 employees and all are eligible they will not allow all 5 to take the offer.
Historically, less than 20% of offers in the US of similar packages choose to accept.
I am taking it, I think that pretty much all folks who are eligible are taking it - it's a non brainer here - if you do not take it you will be gone. It's an unwritten rule.
Qualifications: 10+ years experience AND years of experience plus age 65+. Applies to hourly and salary employees. It is a package worth considering but make sure to evaluate all options.

I heard the same thing on Friday. I was supposed to get layed off this week. My boss told me that it will be pushed back a few weeks to allow whatever the are offering to be pushed out.
