Thread regarding Bank of America layoffs

British clans at Merrill Lynch's office

I used to be part of it and remember the extent of power that the British clans exercised in Merrill Lynch's office (now part of BoA) in Asia, mostly in Singapore and Hong Kong. After reading all those reviews, now it looks like it is general thing. They often dictate the situation not depending on the aims, budget and ethics but based on their ambitions, creating favoritism in office, so condemned by the US, promoting godfathering, etc. Why does Brian Moynihan not take them out and clean up this mess promptly so that all these talented folks can bring real-time feasible benefits to bank? The HR certainly dont want to hear about. I feel pity for those whose destinies and family benefit still depends on this kind of individuals. They are to be laid off, let's do it

I think they should ask for volunteers to be laid off first and if they don't get enough response go from there. There are people who legitimately do not want to be here but can't just quit and can't find anything making what they do and would just prefer their severance.
