$2750 was the severance package for employees at 10st with less than 8 years. Doesn't matter how you made or how hard you worked or whether you were asked to come in for free on a weekend to try and up the numbers.

Was once a company that cared about its employees. Now is a complete joke run by a bunch of clowns. Blind leading the blind in the most cutthroat atmosphere. If youre not close friends or on your knees for upper management, watch out. Shady back handed deals with empty promises to keep you a hopeful and loyal employee. These people care for nothing more than stroking their massive ego and they will use you as a step to further shape their disgusting image. Ive never known people this low and it was a blessing in disguise the day i was laid off. I could continue on but their poor management skills driving an entire company into the ground will do the speaking. I wish all those that are fighting legal battles with this scum company to get their severance all the best.

It doesn't really matter. Why? Because Weatherford management blew the acquisition transition.
All the quality people are gone, and the business case is now poor.
As soon as Weatherford took control, it went downhill fast.
And that, my friends, says a lot about Weatherford Senior Executives. They are the most highly paid incompetents in the oilfield industry.
Period. No doubt, the worst.
Jason Gartrell from Houston was the worst. He forced a very good employee out when they needed him the most. So many politics and incompetence
2-3 years ago this company was a sought after work place but now no one even would like to apply there for a job. Non technical people managing the company who dont know even the basic of loss and profit. Productivity come to minimum, incompetent and thug management who looted all the resources . Even when oil price was over $100.00, this company was in trouble. I still remember when Ampscot was private company, employees had profit sharing, owners were making decent profit and place was managed appropriately. Since the big Weatherford boys took over, Ampscot facility has been steadily falling. Current culture, environment, working atmosphere, stress, no vision, no strategy, no directions just management is busy to loot as much as they can before it get shut down .
So everyone knows the 10th Street location of Ampscot closed but rumour has it the remaining location on 8th Street will close too.
