What IT groups were affected today?
To hear of people with several years experience being let go should not surprise anyone. WFT has been doing this for a long time. The sad part is there are managers who have no idea of what managing is about, yet these are the people drawing big salaries and qualified for bonuses. WFT will not survive if they don't stop letting the wrong be go. Who would want to come to work here?
Just saw the names of some of the people let go and am really surprised at some. Weatherford seems to be notorious for letting the wrong people go.
No contractors they are laying off ONLY full time employees with around 10+ years of time with the company. In other words the exact opposite of what they said they would do in Bernards bullshit memo.
