I just heard that non-exempt employees are to work 40 hours regardless of weather related delays and cancellations. Is anyone familiar with the policies on this?

Well, if the school is closed for a snow day, they never forced a make up, but they can require the missed hours to be made up...much like snow days for school children, made up into summer vacation. There is no law requiring them to pay you for a weather closing...or you can PTO
