Thread regarding L-3 Communications Holdings Inc. layoffs

Here is what I am angry about......

CSW has been going through layoffs for two years. In that time, not one executive has been laid off. Not one. There has been zero executive accountability. Zero. All of the "we are family" and "we take care of our own" bullshit that we have heard over the years turns out to be just that. Bullshit. It's just corporate america playing out in Salt Lake City.

the only management that isn't around are the ones that had 2 options, get fired or leave - how many of those have there been? The rest of them still walk around all day blaming the computer people for their problems ans hashing out the details of their next big strategic move in meetings. I wish I had the capability to see how deep the tiering is around this slack shack, operations probably has about 10 levels, but then again, yootah is the pyramid scheme capitol of the world, makes sense!

Did you miss the whole Val bloodletting? All kinds of managers and directors leaving on their own or being asked to leave. I've been asked to leave many times but I am not leaving. You need to be more careful with your posts! Thank you, Camille

People rarely get laid off or fired at that level. It would amount to the higher ups admitting a mistake in hiring them. Rather they are "promoted" to other duties or quietly informed that they should leave. Often their departure is accompanied by some kind of package or "golden parachute." That is why you will not see them subject to the same kind of treatment as the rank-and-file. But for their massive egos, it is just as great a blow.
