Significant layoffs today (3-18-15) in Navasota, TX.
we laid off 10% about 3 weeks ago...
three weeks later, we laid off 15% of what was left.
About 45 total team members out of 197.
I have not heard of any layoffs...my plant has 3 openings/hiring soon.
Mood in Asia is v bad as well, every one is looking for a plan B. I heard there will be a 15-20% cut. Gotta look busy......
I've also heard 20% coming (Likely any day)

Feel the pulse of Houston, there is so much anxiety in the air, many, many wells are simply not profitable any more, less wells we have less work will have and less people we'll need. So, be realistic, a 20% cut in the overall employment levels in the oil and gas industry is something that I would expect to happen today.
