Amazon will also work with faculty to collect information on textbooks and course materials each semester, according to the release. It will also provide faculty with an online tool to find, compare and select course materials, and will work with the UMass Libraries and the Online Web-Based Learning program to ensure that professors and students can access free or low-cost course materials on campus.

Brytewave doesn't even work. Just take a look at the app markets for Google and Apple. Amazon will dominate this area. Amazon information technology is a million times better than Follett IT. Have you used the Kindle reader and compared it to Brytewave? Have you compared prices of the content on the two readers?
I don't agree with the blurb "remained the industry leader by dedicating ourselves to innovation and technology".
Are we really the industry leader here? And how has management dedicated us to innovation and technology? Hardly anything we have done can be considered innovative. We're playing " catch up " and have been doing so for quite some time.
BryteWave and Follett Discover can be accessed together all in one place

What is ConnectOnce? I haven't heard of it.
They did execute. They renamed it ConnectOnce and working on outsourcing it to Infosys
Betterknow was from our previous leadership. The new leadership tream had to actually execute on the strategy. Hasn't happened.
