I read the posts and I couldn’t believe my eyes. Are the employees so stupid and so naive to blame each other, wireline vs wireless, old vs young?
This has nothing to do with working from home or performance or employee's age.
It is all bad about bad management decisions on top levels and nothing more. Losing the bid for new spectrum to maintain network supremacy. Making billions of dollars of bad investments and writing them off with zero value. There is no real insight into innovation, which is the strength of American companies. Keeping their expenses untouched with their private jets and super bonuses for doing a sh*t job.
VSP, RTO, RIF are all just to make up for their mistakes. How do we recover? We evaluate every single job, if that can be done offshore, by contractors, or by rebadging employees to those Indian consultancy companies for a few bucks less or not. If yes, it does not matter your performance, your years at the company, your age, YOU WILL BE GONE.
So please reconsider your loyalties. They should not be to Verizon management, they should be to yourself, your family, your colleagues who do their best everyday to push this company forward.
