Anyone changed to engineering or project management in renewables? How do salary and benefits compare?

Renewables are coming. If opec doesn't behave and keep cutting crude to prop up our margins, a huge pay cut may be what you have to take.
@2owo+19F1Zp4m - Does that include bonuses and RSUs? My friends that left took base pay cuts from Exxon but make a lot more in total comp now when including bonus and stock.
Thanks for sharing. Seems all this talk of green jobs is a bunch of BS. Will have to look elsewhere as staying with the tiger horse is no longer an option I want to continue pursuing
Poor. >$200k salary at EM. Offered ~$120k to be PM for a renewables company.
