Maximum salary of Associate 602

I want to join Chase as Associate 602 with role of IT Developer. Can someone please advise what is maximum salary I can ask to recruiter? I don't want to ask above limit which may deny my application before interview.

Not even remotely true max is 115-120K. Mid level is 80-90K both with 10-15% bonus

The grade level pretty much tell you the range. I’ve been at Chase for over 2 decades that pay range is in the 60’s. Good Luck!

it depends on location but for Columbus I would say a 602 would be in 90K to 100K range. Get in with a high salary its v difficult to get raises later.

Salary is relative to location (cost of living) and relative to how badly the hiring manager wants you.

Its a bit like house price, a house can cost as much as a buyer is willing to pay.

The site below is very accurate in terms of pay for tech jobs. I can attest that 3 of the firms(including JPM) I have been to, my numbers were almost exactly what was on the site. I was in NYC and the pay for 602 is easily well over 120k. Also remember that JPM doesn't give many raises to tech so you won't get much.

IT pays more than most other departments. You could probably go as high as $110K.

Everything is negotiable. I negotiated up my salary on my hire 15 years ago. Have not seen an annual raise above 1% in 10 years. Many years I have not gotten any raise. It's not my performance as I have been getting excellent performance reviews every year. They keep telling me I make more the than the managers. My response is "than the managers are underpaid". Bottom line, the company is more worried about all the minority groups including gender, race, and s-xual preference. Only way I'm gonna a get a decent raise is to leave the company. The company openly admitted in a recent CNBC article that they are making hiring and compensation decisions based on diversity quotas. See Ya...

65 K would be on the high side from a good school, and with very good qualifications. Don't buy into the BS that everyone will tell you, as they are not going to over compensate new hires and place pressure on their experienced worker salaries. Banks are also cutting back and outsourcing IT jobs like everyone else, so don't expect the big bucks that your college may be telling you.

Doesn't sound correct that max sal for 602 is 95K. If you search H1B salaries, many Associates are getting above $110K for Ohio location.

The max is heavily dependent on the organization. The typical range for that level is 75,000-95,000. Don't expect to get 95,000 unless they REALLY want you.
