Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Way to protest layoffs

If we want to show collective action and that employees are mad about layoffs let’s do something harmless but shows we can organize and act. Everyone do zero work between 10 am and 10:15 am ET next Tuesday Dec 9. All 200k of us. It’s just to show that we are all out there and support our colleagues. What would happen if all network activities and teams calls just stopped for 15 minutes? Leadership will know people are united but won’t be able to punish anyone because who’s to say that you didn’t just step away for a break?

You just recently got out of high school and this is your first real job.

Newsflash. You dont work on an auto assembly line. You deciding to not do anything for pretty much any length of time has zero impact on anything which is why so many people are being let go. Way too many folks with nothing to do most of the time.

Yes by not doing anything you'll convince the company that you're actually indispensable. GENIUS!!

Good luck protesting the company's #1 strategy to reduce expenses and the main approach our execs are talking about in all interviews and earnings.
