do you think this means the volume applications is high? are they just f*cking with us now?

What did they think was honestly going to happen? The last wave of layoffs earlier this year worked all the way to the last day too. This is just so ridiculous
@a2 they can’t even decide wtf they are doing. Are we getting laid off or what now ? This je-king around has given me whiplash and migraines I think I will apply for a medical leave.
@OP I was thinking the same thing. The date of separation changed to sept 4
Funny how they somehow know people are questioning involuntary layoffs. Wonder who the layoff.com troll is reporting back to the C-Suite? I think more people accepted then they had thought would. Of course it doesn't help when the CEO tells you in her video attempt at being "human" that involuntary layoffs were coming regardless of the VSP. What the he-l did they expect? Not a good look when the majority of your workforce doesn't want to work for you anymore and they can see that they are on a sinking ship. Sounds like they got themselves in a pickle here.
@a3 oooooo good point!! maybe that’s why they need additional review time.
@OP I definitely think the volume of applications is high! And, in this email, she didn’t talk about how if they didn’t get enough “involuntary layoffs may follow”
I agree. This is ridiculous. They are playing with our lives and well being. If it wasn’t for needing the money I would say to heck with it. How can you line up something else when they keep moving dates around and being so inconsistent
😭
