My ESPP investment period began in January 2024 at just under $40 per share (first purchase in June 2024). But now, at the end of June, I made another purchase at $40. I thought it was only valid for two years—or does the period start from the first payment?

@OP this would be the last buy on your two year lock price if your lock price started in June 2024.
@by You need to educate yourself on ESPP as there is a 2 year price lock. It will reset after 2 years or if the price less 15% is lower on a purchase date.
@OP 6 months just like you described, jan 1 to jun 30.
FMV whichever is lower is what you pay minus 15% if you are an employee. not sure where the 2 year idea came from but ain't for ESPP purchases. that would be awesome but nope.
