Last week's layoffs carried over US employees itself or VZ India as well? Why all american workers and their positions get eliminated but not India employees? Is it because of cheap rates? Though their work is at sub-par in quality and no accountability what so ever?

@a4 Awesome One sentence. Liked it. Companies likes Savings right. If Outsourcing is eradicated, VZ FBE is 200 per line . LOL
Worked at Telcom Parkway and my buddy that works at the SHE lives in apartments nearby , we got a boatload of Indians and now all the ducks have vanished...coincidence?
VZI contributed to the downfall of the company. The "Center of Excellence" in India should have never been built.
Outsourced and offshored positions caused the experience for customers to be frustrated, disappointed and angry in the USA in which the customers leave for other wireless companies. Who wants to talk with "Mark" who has a heavy accent and does not know what he is doing to resolve a concern. This is what happens when leaders cut corners and hire cheap labor over quality and loyalty.
Indians are nice and cheap. Plus they are 20% of the worlds population, so easy to replace if you don't play ball.
