Smoke/Vape Free Campuses Coming Soon?

Been hearing rumors from upper management that the company is moving towards having to smoke and vape free properties throughout. Can anyone confirm?

@a5 yeah they can't apply this to leased properties and most local laws already forbid smoking in proximity of office doors & windows.

As a smoker who follows the rules, and walks back to the back of the garage to the designated area, I definitely yell at people I see smoking in front of the building or in unauthorized areas because I don't want to disturb anyone else or lose even more self-agency rights to whiney activists who should mind their business or make a baby to coddle instead of living alone with their cats. They could lose about 50lbs too if they picked-up smoking, might even catch a date for once!

Anyone who still smokes or vapes is a complete id--t. If people want to take smoke breaks at work they should be required to do so OFF property and not in proximity of entrances so that normal people don’t have to breathe their stank smoke. Maybe stand in the middle of the street or something. I don’t care but don’t make me breathe your smoke infested waste.

I actually am in support of it. I don't want to breathe in secondhand smoke. More people than ever getting lung cancer who have never smoked a day on their lives.

I care less about smokers than I do about work.

@OP Not sure how that would fly with HUBs like mine where there are multiple tenants in the building and USB isn't the landlord. Still, if true, even though I don't smoke or vape, way to make an already miserable work environment even more miserable for a segment of employees! /s
