Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

Convince me AT&T's CEO is not trying to destroy the company with layoffs

..price increases, a new 52 week low stock price every day, sowing distrust among the employees, lack of leadership in the top 3 tiers, running the CFO off, sc--wing up the Firstnet. Did I miss anything? Is it even possible to perform more poorly?

Problem with that is with all the nepotism from upper mgmt in the company keep their useless friends around like cliques in high school.

Sorry, but it can’t be done.

@a8 Unfortunately, the unnecessary workers at the top are the ones that are never shown the door. The performance of Stankey during his “leadership” has been abysmal. Anyone in the lower ranks would have been canned for poor performance post haste.

Getting rid of unnecessary workers is a good thing.

CFO? Until 30 days ago I had assumed he would eventually leave as a whistleblower in light of the past 5 quarterly reports. Self preservation is a strong motivator.

He just spent a sh-t ton on a new HQ. The only way I can possibly think is he’s financially obligated to destroy the company. Maybe early investor in SpaceX?
