Rumors are buzzing all around the company. Unfortunately since leadership hasn’t communicated much people are making things up. I suggest you don’t spread rumors until we have facts in official communications.

@r2 where are you getting this from? Makes no sense esp for wells central teams. We have 25+ advisors, 3 in just fluids teams with a population of 20+ specialists. What will the specialists do without the advisors and senior advisor. We have well control, barrier, tubular design, frac, mpd, completion, drilling, well placement advisors that all the specialists depend on for advice. How will ops progress if not for the advisors or senior advisors?
@md they already got rid of most if not all sr advisors and advisors. I’m guessing chief & principal engineers next.

@jv most central roles will disappear, but in few years they'll tell us we're working in silos and need central teams to share best practice and increase efficiency. You couldn't make this up.
All the favourites of the current vp will stay.
What's going to happen to all the chief engineers, senior advisors, advisors and subject matter experts.

In Upstream: Majority Central Roles especially with Discipline Lead in title to go.
Only Central people who are dedicated 80%+ to one Region will remain.
