That's all they care about. Something may happen in the future but for now, stock price is up. Leadership and shareholders love it.

Hardware is definitely dead. Those giga data centers are designed from the ground up to be empty voids.
I don't know about "Hardware is dead". The hyperscalers surely make it challenging.
