@ak less than 20% of all layoffs are truly AI-related. AI is being used to cover for the fact they over-hired in 2022, CEOs are sold on the belief that they can squeeze the same production out of less staff, and the economic cycle is nowhere near as good as we're being told. Big corporations don't go defensive when the economy looks great.
Fom the looks of the layoff situation at so many employers now there will be many more to follow. Is it AI related?
