I still don’t understand the whole BD Excellence thing. What do the Excellence Officers do? Has anyone attended a session in the new training center in Flakes? I haven’t had much time to look into this and would like to hear from people who are up close and personal.

@g6 completely agree.. and what does it also tell us not just that talent and hard work doesn’t matter it tells us that tom likes to hire externally. so much for that succession planning BS.. every single person with the exception of people officer has been an external hire .. everyone left and the replacement has been a replacement .. tom thinks external candidates are better than the internal folks.. what he hasn’t yet realized is HE IS BD’s #1 problem and until he disappears this company will continue to sink sink sink.. the amount of “commercial” roles they posted is laughable .. same sh-t different day I’ve seen this movie play out multiple times over the years but never as bad as this time around .. and the chief revenue officer doesn’t impress me .. he’s bringing his dannaher BS to BD primarily business excellence he literally spoke about it at the stupid session they had with him.. 2025 failed now it’s business excellence and new brand lol what in the circus is going on here?
@bc spot on. Whenever there's a problem, BD leadership's first instinct is to travel because they love flying business class. They'll spend 20 hours traveling each way just to run a four-hour team-building workshop.
I'm not sure when they'll realize that when leaders like Denis speak, they don't inspire employees—they have the exact opposite effect. Seeing someone like her become CIO is enough to make anyone stop believing that talent and hard work actually matter.
Another astounding example is how BD wastes money by sending non-technical people to technical conferences. Very few companies squander resources that way—including companies whose profits exceed our annual revenue.

Is launching to mask his incompetence and the sh-t show he has made of bd .. clowns running around with vp titles and senior director but they don’t actually solve any problems .. they just travel around .. conduct useless training classes that are nothing but six sigma fundamental concepts .. business excellence is the biggest trash to have ever been introduced at bd..
