Thread regarding Fidelity National Information Services Inc. layoffs

What do new people get?

I've only been here a few months. If I get cut in the next round, am I getting any kind of severance or nothing at all?

@OP You should have declined the offer dummy. FIS has lost over 70% of its value in the past 5 years. FIS will be no more than a faint memory in another 5.

@bw The current US Severance Plan document, which can be found on the People Office Support Center, says that you receive 2 weeks per completed year of service with the following Minimums and Maximums:

Employee Grades 5-10 - Minimum: 8 weeks / Maximum 52 weeks
Employee Grades 11-12 - Minimum: 12 weeks / Maximum 52 weeks
Employee Grades 13-14 - Minimum: 16 weeks / Maximum 52 weeks
Employee Grades 15-18 - Minimum: 24 weeks / Maximum 52 weeks

There are minimum severance payouts depending on your role. If you are laid off you’d get somewhere between 4-8 weeks of severance. You can search for the severance plan on FIS and Me

If you are new, then you in danger, girl (even if you're not a girl). Start looking because the instability is not worth it.

2 weeks per full year of service plus 3 months notice (check contract)

So for you, 0 * 2 = 0
